The MSc Program with the title "Organic Synthesis and its Applications in Chemical Industry" is supported by the Department of Chemistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is offered in collaboration with the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition of the Agricultural University of Athens.

The object of this MSc program is Organic Synthesis and in general Organic Chemistry and its applications in Chemical Industry. The scope of this MSc program is the theoretical and practical training of high-level graduate students in the topics of synthesis and study of chemical products and especially products of high added value.

The MSc program aims to train executives who will be able to manage the chemical industry, including the pharmaceutical industry and to contribute to its development, as well as to the development of strategic areas of universities and research institutes, with an end result of their significant contribution to the overall development needs of the country and of the European Union.

The MSc program lasts for 3 semesters with the following lessons in the first two semesters and the last semester is dedicated to the experimental work and the MSc thesis preparation.
